Dr. Michael Rugh is an education researcher with expertise in curriculum and instruction, assessment, STEM education, learning technologies, and the design of effective learning experiences. He brings that research perspective to the development of Connections Tutoring's instructional approach and tutor training.

Alan Luu
Alan Luu brings a strong science background and years of expert tutoring experience, with a particular focus on building strong, productive relationships between tutors and students. His approach emphasizes clear instruction, individual attention, and helping students grow in both understanding and confidence.
Together, the founders created Connections Tutoring to provide families with a more selective, personal approach to one-on-one academic support.
